How Policyhold uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can manage your preferences.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the service is used.

Policyhold also uses similar browser storage where needed for authentication and product functionality.

Why Policyhold uses cookies

We use cookies to operate Policyhold securely, keep you signed in, and, only with your permission, to understand product usage and diagnose reliability issues.

Cookie categories

Required cookies are always active because Policyhold cannot function without them. Optional analytics and monitoring cookies are disabled until you choose to allow them.

  • Required: authentication, session management, and security (Supabase).
  • Analytics (optional): product usage insights (PostHog).
  • Monitoring (optional): error diagnostics and limited session replay when enabled (Sentry).

Third-party providers

Policyhold currently uses the following providers for browser technologies covered by this policy:

  • Supabase: authentication and session management.
  • PostHog: analytics when you allow analytics cookies.
  • Sentry: error monitoring; session replay only when you allow monitoring cookies.

Managing your preferences

When you first visit Policyhold, you can accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage categories individually.

You can reopen your preferences anytime from the Cookie preferences link in the site footer.

Browser controls

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through settings. Blocking required cookies may prevent you from signing in or using core Policyhold features.
